This is a thread were you can put your idea for baby names that will really screw with your kids later in life, let me begin:
- Optimus Prime
- Megatron
- Deceptacon
- Galactus
- Oxygen (spelled 0-2)
- Nitrogen (spelled N-2)
- Estrogen
 - Psilocybin (the active chemical found in many shrooms)
- Oedipus
- Oedipus Rex
- Oedipus Learns to Drive
- Intelligent Design
- Dish
- god
- Apple
- Trogdor
I think that's a good list to start with, keep in mind, I have no intention of ever actually having kids.

Yeah, true, but think about how much worse I'd be if my name was "Oedipus Learns to Drive Secrest".

I wanted to name my son Xavier Raymond so his nickname would be 'X-Ray'. My wife didn't like the idea at all.
She won.

Tracey has taught a pair of twins named Orangejello (pronounced oh-RONGE-uh-low) and Lemonjello (luh-MONGE-uh-low), a young man named Muric (pronounced, believe it or not, as Maurice!) a girl named Clitoris (her family nickname was Kiki), and my personal favorite, Shithead (pronounced shu-THEED), who, obviously, was named after his father....

At Microsoft, most vendors (those who work at but not for MS) get email addresses that combine their first and last names. Mine is v-hankwi (before that, it was a-hankw, before that it was v-1hawir).
I felt bad for Manuel Reynaldo, who I spotted in the address list as being v-manure.

Love the Oranjello and Lemonjello story. Without trying to sound like an ignorant cracker, I must ask where parents come up with these names. I've see Trezzuar (pronounced Treasure), and Zhaetwan, Kenyonda, and others, and I have spoken with teachers who say there are kids that in the second grade who still have a hard time spelling the names they have been given. I eagerly await the child named Episiotomy. A cultural thing to be sure....but why?

I went to junior high with a kid named Harry Leather.
As I recall, he won an award for Most Improved Student.

My brother's baby mamma briefly considered naming the spawn Kle. Meant to be pronounced letter by letter, so kay-el-ee. They went with the semi-normal spelling, "Kayleigh" instead, thank Christ.

There was a birth announcement in the paper that got mentioned on one of the local radio stations because of the names of the twins:
Baby Heavenly and Lord Serious.
Yeah, that's how Lord's middle name was spelled. Not even referencing the dog star....he's just really grim.
