Oh great...being in New England, I'm pretty sure that this just means another round of "HOW DARE THEY" from people who remember or were impacted by the Station Nightclub fire. I'm not a fan of the band, never thought that they were that good to begin with and certainly wouldn't disagree with Chris' tag of "cover band", but I also don't think that they deserve to forever be tarred with the brush of the one idiot who decided to set off the pyrotechnics in that small place. Still, people will be calling for the band's heads for having the nerve to pursue a career and actually try to release new material. I wish they'd just change their name to something like "Tiger Shark", "Lemon Shark" or perhaps "Nurse Shark", the latter of which would be perfect for album covers with scantily clad women in skimpy nurse outfits.
Walter, you zany iconoclast!!
You want to talk about synchronicity? Linda posted this yesterday. Last night, TNT aired a
Law & Order rerun where the detectives were investigating a rock star whose band set off a flamethrower in a small club.
Things work in strange and mysterious ways here at IMWAN...especially Linda.
