Then Play On being two personal favorites.
I have a couple of John Mayall 2-disc compilations, one of which features a number of tracks when PG was the guitarist...and I find those recordings more inspiring than anything Mayall did with Clapton.
As for Green's solo career, I have a couple of individual albums but this compilation is an ideal entry point:
