Wasn't something similar to this done on iTunes a few years ago wherein one had to purchase the entire thing in order to obtain the so-called rarities disc? From what I recall, the "rarities" weren't all that rare for Dylan collectors.

Hmmm, does this mean all the titles which haven't been remastered now will be?

I'd like brand-spanking-new remasters of Self Portrait, Pat Garrett & Bill The Kid, Dylan, Hard Rain, Saved, Shot of Love & Empire Burlesque for starters.

I might hold by breath and get this if rare singles like George Jackson are included......I'm sure some stuff will end up missing like live tracks from the Love Sick singles etc.

"George Jackson" is on the Masterpieces CD set, so it has been available on compact disc before.

Dylan has been around so long that he has material exclusive to just about every medium imaginable, from VHS to CD-ROM, but there have been roughly a half-dozen or so Dylan tracks officially released on vinyl that have never appeared on CD. I'd have to look them up to get an exact number. "George Jackson" is pretty rare, but there is rarer Dylan out there.

The big band version of George Jackson is on Masterpieces. I don't believe that the acoustic version has ever been on CD, at least a Dylan CD. It's on the recently released, atrociously titled Listen Whitey compilation.

You're right, there's two versions on that 45 if memory serves.

Aside from the obscure Japanese promo "Mr D.'s Collection #3" , I don't think this has ever seen release on CD. It's Hell time, Man!

That bonus disc is funny.........I would never think of "Wigwam" as an essential Bob Dylan song.

I'm pretty sure that I have that on something. I'll have to check when I go home later.

I have the 7" (w/ picture sleeve) and a promo 12". But I've never seen it on a CD. You'd think between all the Dylan and Petty comps out there, it woulda turned up by now.

I have it on my iPod.

4. "Corrina, Corrina" (1962) b-side of "Mixed-Up Confusion), band version, different from version later released on "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan."
5. "Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground" (1983) b-side used on various international singles of songs from "Infidels"
6. "Twas The Night Before Christmas" (2009) b-side of promo "Must Be Santa" single bundled with copies of the "Christmas In The Heart" album ordered through the Sony online store.

J&R had a limited quantity of this 45 that they gave away with purchase of the Christmas CD. That's how I got mine.

Give me these four items and I'll be a pretty happy guy! (Actually, I had a "Blood on the Tracks" boot at one time. Don't know if I still have it.)

How about his version of John Hiatt's "The Usual"?
