Bannings: Bannings? We don't need no stinkin' bannings!
I hear that they can go decades without eating.

Unless you watch them carefully.

There's a fakir who claims he's gone decades without eating.

When I was a kid, I thought Fakir was a phony joke title, something made up for the Three Stooges.

Like the law firm of Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe.

Wait... Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe is not a legitimate law firm? I've been sending them checks for years to cover my payments on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Personally I prefer my ascetic gurus to be from Tibet.

I think the Tibetan ones have fewer artificial additives in them, and aren't genetically modified.

Simon believes the marketing that Tibet puts out. He's so naive.

Australia has almost facsistic labelling laws, so I can be completley sure of the authenticity of my Tibetan products.

When I buy genuine Tibetan Yeti Scalps at the supermarket, I know I'm getting the genuine article, dammit!

Tea-it's a north african guy,possibly a berber,they drink teas...mint teas too.

I still can't be bothered to find out what "fakir" means despite having an album by a band called Paladin with that as one of the title tracks on it.Most people might think this band (not including this track obviously) are prog, but they quite Santana-like on the rest of the album.

The Fakir

A fakir is a person who sleeps on a bed of nails.
