It's too bad that Peter Green hasn't gotten involved in this. I'd love to see Mick reach a hand out and say that he'd love to have him onboard.

Actually, I heard from a very reliable source (a good friend of the band members) that Mick, John, Peter and Jeremy did do some jamming together recently. But I was told that unless they came up with some new stuff their would not be a reunion.

Saw Mick at a wine signing at Costco. I asked him about a reunion and he indicated the original band had gotten together to jam and they had booked a series of shows at Royal Albert Hall and a Eurpoean tour, but Peter pulled out and the whole thing died.

Ah gee! That's terribly unfortunate. That would have been a marvelous thing to see. I hope efforts will be made to revive it. I hope it wasn't a case of people in Green's camp (friends or otherwise) who discouraged him from doing it. It seems like a wonderful missed opportunity.
