I love TOM STRONG but I have to admit I enjoyed ALL-STAR SUPERMAN more.

I went with Tom Strong. I voted for the underdog.

Oh well, this is easy. Tom Strong.
I just read an issue of All-Star Superman that I hadn't before, based on so many people saying it was one of the better ones. It was the Lex in prison one.
I can see why people enjoy All-Star Supe, but something about Morrison's writing style continues to irk me. Can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something in his authorial voice that just grates continually, even when I can see that it is very clever at times.
Tom Strong is fantastic.

I find this true of most of his work, with the exception of his X-MEN run and ALL-STAR SUPERMAN. I love those books, and he earns his praise on those books. Then there is the other Grant Morrison. The guy who writes all those DCU books. Who the fuck is that.

I have the same problem with both of them!

How can I get mods to stop moving my threads around?
Do I really have to put the word "fucking" in every post title?

I too dislike having my posts moved from the private WANderground to the public Playroom.

I didn't move this, but really, if someone feels a thread is better suited for upstairs, they're going to move it. Interesting threads such as the ones you make, Hanzo, draw passers-by into becoming members. If it's all hidden in the members only WANderground, people just pass us by. The WANderground, contrary to what it's turned into for many people, was supposed to hold controversial or NWS stuff, not "regular" fun threads like these. It baffles me that anyone could be bothered by a thread being moved to the Playroom, or "refuse" to post upstairs.

Hey! I just noticed this awesome thread in the Playroom. I feel enticed having seen it, and I will probably post more at IMWAN and use AmazWAN.
I haven't read Tom Strong.
I haven't read all of All Star.
Oh well.
(Hanzo, I vote Playroom all the way. Robbie is the only one that "refuses," and I've shown him how to use Active Topics over and over. He's OCD)

Well, I've already made my feelings clear on the subject and reasons why I post "fun" threads in the WANderground-- for example, I don't think we would've had a 14 page thread on "Best Funnybook Writer" had we not had the contributions from Robbie and some of the others that don't frequent the Playroom.
I post things in the forums I post them in for a reason. In all honesty, I don't feel my threads are as fun or as interesting here thanthey are in the WANderground; I guess I'll drop it for now, since I apparently don't have control over the matter, but it's getting to be pretty annoying to not be able to have the choice for myself.

Hanzo, I love your Fanboy type threads. I'm a big ol' Fanboy and they bring me smiles and joy. Upstairs or down, I'll see 'em, but more importantly: I look forward to them. Your obvious love, your enthusiasm, and your creativity in the creation of these masterpeices should not be influenced by opinions, mine included. Opinions are like elbows, everyone has one or two. (Now anyone can feel free to use the old chestnut "He can't tell his ass from his elbow" regarding me. ) Good Sir, continue you efforts, they are well received and quite rewarding.

Thanks, Tommy.
I honestly don't mean to be a sourpuss about the whole situation, but it does dampen my desire to keep doing these if all of my favorite WANkers won't be able to participate. I'm a big fan of Robbie's off the wall humor and strong views on subjects and think he adds a lot to any discussion; not only that, he's just fun.
That said, I do appreicate the guys who regularly participate in these things, like Jeff, Monk, Sisko, Tommy, Rafael and all the rest.

Well, appreciate the kind words, guys. Still, I don't want to make a big thing of this. In fact, I'd like to offer Jeff a gesture of my appreciation; this lovely avatar.

No, your mind-torture got Hanzo to start the thread in the Playroom, which was your plan all along. You crushed his hopes and dreams, causing him to fall in line. He is a burnt-out husk of a man.
But, it's a move I support!
