Daffy seems to have more varied weapons skills.

He's also comfortable fighting completely naked. He's a duck of his environment.

Daffy would kick some ass here. That's one tough duck. How many ducks you know that can take a shotgun blast to the face and just keep coming.

Donald's in for a world of hurt.

Both ducks have a temper, but Daffy is far more crueler than Donald, not to mention that Daffy is a hell of a lot easier to understand. Daffy would almost lose because he would be unable to contain his laughter at Donald's voice, but he'd rebound big.......

Regardless of which version (the Bob Clampett-wacky-zany-kookie Daffy or the Chuck Jones self-absorbed-egomaniac-greedy Daffy), the Warners character takes it by a country mile. Despite Donald's temper, the simple fact is, at the end of the day, the Disney characters are too gentle, while the Warners characters are always trying to off one another.

Pre-1950s Daffy will beat Donald.
Post 1950s Daffy is easily beaten.

When I was a kid, Disney was for sissies. Real kids were into Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies.

Daffy prison rapes Donald.

It's how ducks fight.

Hate the game, not the drake.

Anybody remember when they were playing piano on "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and Donald made a racial slur?

Anyone remember when they were playing piano on "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and some complete idiots thought Donald's "doggone little..." was him making a racial slur?

Cartoon Daffy takes it over cartoon Donald. If you go with Barks' Donald, then he wins.

Yes! Carl Barks' Donald was an incredibly resourceful character. And still had the dangerous temper.

And it wouldn't be to the death, although I wouldn't put it past Daffy to try it.

IAWTP!

Warner Bros > Disney

Hanna Barbara (the 'old' Tom & Jerry' stuff) also > Disney

South Park > Disney

Basically, Disney blows.

I have the VHS with the closed captioning that proves Donald used the racial slur. Your little site proves nothing.

Daffy definitely demolishes Donald. Decisively.

Daffy is only effective before the 1950s.

You guys take this question far too lightly.

Daffy is evil. He plans. He schemes. He's kinda dumb though. His schemes and plans are moronic. But he would act diabolically. He has no loyalty to friends. everyone is a chess piece-a pawn-to be sacrificed for the benefit of Daffy. He'd sacrifice your life to gain one piece of genie gold.

Donald? The comic books show him fairly resourceful. the cartoons demonstrate a relatively normal guy. He's not diabolical like Daffy. But he has rages. Deep, deep rages. Psycho freak out rages where he would cut you, and gut you, slice you with razor blades. and no doubt he's got a psycho's strength at that time. and when someone goes off on you like that, it's tough to deal with. Oh sure afterwards he has remorse, if he even remembers what he did. But ask Horace the Horse or Clarabell the cow how it feels to be on the receiving end of Donald's rage. Oh right, you can't. They're dead. and ever wonder why Daisy where's such heavy makeup? Covers up the bruises.

Daffy cannot survive a full frontal attack. But he's unlikely to make one. this could go either way.
