I heard a comedian on the radio doing an impression of Arnold playing Jesus in a movie.
The guy was BRILLIANT! I laughed my ass off..........seriously i had tears streaming down my face while listening to it it was THAT funny.
Can't for the life of me remember his name tho.......He was an asian guy from Texas of all things, that's all I remember.

Ever hear the crank calls made using sound bites from Arnold's movies...they can downloaded on the net at the various torrent sites...HILARIOUS...they call customer service compter places, motels, restaurants..all using voice clips from his flics...i was crying when I heard these...
Arnie was just huge when i was growing up in the 80s...a true action icon when I was a kid...Conan, Terminator 1 and 2, Total Recall, Predator..still hold up for me.

Those are a RIOT!
What I don't get is how people actually fall for it, and begin arguing with the sound bytes.
I have several Arnold Soundboards, and have tried it a few times. Works great!

I know what you mean, John. Arnold had a certain good-guy warmth that other action star guys lacked. (Yes, I realize how ridiculous that may sound but I'm serious.)

Chaz - i hear ya...Arnie just had something that others lacked..i remember sneaking into some of his movies (a lot were 18 and up)...and when his name appeared at the beginning of the flic..the whole audience cheered...the crowds were so pumped for his flics back then..it was nuts..i remember the theatre goign crazy during Total Recall..

I like Arnold.
But I was much more a Sly devotee.

I liked Sly's characters better.
Sylvester Stallone was my hero growing up-mostly for Rocky and Rambo, but i saw everything else he did too. I admired his story of writing his own ticket to fame, his Rocky like determination to not give up or give in and sell the script with someone else in the lead, I liked his characters better, I thought he had a gentleness and even a sweet way with kids in the movies, and yet was tough as nails as well. I could relate to his characters more than Arnold's mostly. I also thought he had an underappreciated sense of humor, and even in some very bad movies, played some memorable characters or at least had memorable scenes sometimes. I also think he has some acting chops-somewhat wasted by roles he was offered and pursued. I've also always liked continuing stories, which he had more than Arnold. Plus, i never imagined I could look like cartoon figure Arnold, but I had delusions of grandeur that I could look like Sly.
I was a fan ever since I was bored as a 5 year old at the drive in watching Star Trek II, and watched out the back, across to another screen far away, and saw Rocky III-at a distance, soundless, amazed at the fights.
My fav Stallone movies
Rocky Series (all of them)
Rambo Series (but III not so much)
Lords of Flatbush
Tango and Cash
Oscar (its a family fav even though everyone else hates it)
Cliffhanger
Demolition Man
Antz
Copland
Also I liked The Contender show
Fav Arnold movies
Terminator series (yes the 3rd one too)
Predator Twins
True Lies
Kindergarden Cop
Total recall
See much less. Plus, I came to Arnold much later. Commando on tv and Predator and Twins in the movies. Conan, maybe, but I never thought Arnold, just Conan, I had seen 4 Rocky movies and 2 Rambo ones by that point. Plus the Muppet Show.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father
Who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord
Where there is doubt, true faith in you
Where there is discord, let me bring union
Where there is despair in life, let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where there's sadness, ever joy
Oh master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my soul
For it is in giving that we receive
In pardoning that we are pardoned
And in dying that we receive eternal life
Prayer of the Greaseman
Oh, God---let me get TEN-HUT!
Please let me have ONE...LAST....WOODY!
Prayer of Conan the Barbarian
Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that two stood against many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you!

Re: the Arnold soundboards
When I worked on a Tech Support helpdesk, we used to get calls from vendors trying to sell us something all the time. We were supposed to politely inform these folks that our company did not accept unsolicited proposals. Instead, we abused them with soundboards from various movie stars, and Ahnuld was by far the best one.
One memorable one was a chick from Cisco (I think), and I told her she was going to be transferred to our sales associate "John Kimble". We were in stitches as Ahnuld introduced himself with "I'm Detective John Kimble". She stumbled a little bit at the "detective" title and asked, "And what is your position again?" Ahnuld replied, "I'm a CAWP, you EE-DEE-UHT!"
Weeks later we started getting calls from vendors who were specifically asking to speak to our manager, John Kimble. Classic.
