Is there a better cookies and milk combination?

Sure, chocolate chip is pretty good (Chips Ahoy! is my favorite), but Oreos? The best.

Oddly enough, I like both milk and cookies, but not together. Same way with milk and cereal--I eat my cereal dry. Guess I'm something of a milk purist.

Milk and cookies, absolutely. Oreos are okay, but my favorite is Walkers Pure Butter Stem Ginger Shortbread.

Still, you Americans make the best cookies and the best ice cream! :snack: :food2:

Chocolate on my fingers, icing on my lips
Sugar diabetes and blubber on my hips
I keep the night light burning in the kitchen baby
So I can go downstairs and cruise
I got them oreo creme sandwich
Chocolate covered creme filled cookie blues

I hide'em in a cabinet, I keep'em in a jar
For emergency's you know I keep'em in the
Glove compartment of my car
And I can't live without'em
They git' me higher than I can get on booze
I got them oreo creme sandwich
Chocolate covered creme filled cookie blues

Doctor says I'm crazy
You better give'em up and quick
Or you'll be pushing up daisies because
Boy you definitely sick
I couldn't quit if I wanted to
Yeah I don't wanna lose
It's them oreo creme sandwich
Chocolate cover creme filled cookie
Built by nabisco, ain't no rookie
Next best thang to nookie blues

Oreos and milk are indeed spectacularly yummy. Even better though ... double chocolate Oreos and chocolate milk!!! Nectar of the gods!

That doesn't sound weird enough to be a pregnancy craving. Now a craving for Vienna sausages dunked in milk would be another matter.

I know it's weird, but I'm not alone. I've met about two other people over the years who also eat their cereal dry.

I second the vote for the Golden Oreos. I happen to have an almost empty package right here on my desk. While milk is the best, they are also good with orange soda for some reason.

Golden Oreos are also awesome when dunked in coffee.

And they are superior to Vienna fingers as well.

I prefer cereal in milk, but hate the phenomenon that leads to the latter half of the meal being all soggy. Then in college I saw a guy with a brilliant solution: one bowl of cereal (dry), one bowl of milk. He'd grab a spoonful of cereal, dip it in the milk, and eat. Repeat.

Genius. I spent the rest of my senior year doing the same trick. As god is my witness, my cereal was never soggy again.

But then you end up with a bowl of warm milk with cereal residue floating in it. Then do you drink it (eww)? Or give it to the cat?
