I took the kids to see this earlier today and found it quite enjoyable. Not quite on the same level as Finding Nemo or the Toy Story films, but still a cut above your average animated movie. Lots of heart and a good message that we'd all do well to remember.

Nothing'll beat "The Incredibles" for me...
Except maybe "The Incredibles Return."

I liked Ice Age 2, now the GF and I just have to get back into the weekend movie routine(since Scarborough ended on Memorial Day Weekend), with X-3(in an afternoon showing) and Cars on the list.

Saw it yesterday. I heard some bad reviews, but can't see what they're talking about. Completely enjoyable to me and my whole family. My 2 year old laughed through about 3/4 of it until he couldn't sit still anymore. To me, better than Nemo, but I didn't care for Nemo much. Not -quite- a classic like Toy Story, but we will buy this when it comes out on DVD. There's some good inside jokes in there if you look/listen for them.

I hate when Disney does that. Generally I hate remakes. And in this situation it's unusual in that I liked the Monster Magnet remake of Cars... How's that for going full circle.

I want to see it, though I admit that the trailers have me a little underwhelmed. I am not a car/NASCAR person. However, I've liked everything Pixas has done so I'll check it out.

One line from "Cars" could be a catchphrase for IMWAN...
"Watch out for Frank."

True d'at, possibly the only movie I've ever watched twice in a row.

"Watch out for Frank." That’s not a catchphrase. That’s just good advice.

Refresh my memory, but did Mater warn Lightning about Frank when they went out "tractor-tipping"? If so, then I assume it was Frank who showed up later in Lightning's nightmare?

Thanks, Frank! I thought my question was vague enough to preserve
spoilers, but thanks for adding spoilers to my question AND answering
it! Now if there was only some way to connect THAT Frank with the
Beatles I think we could make you a new avatar!

The band in question is Rascal Flatts, probably the hottest band in country music right now. (Not that such knowledge means much to many of you; just for general informational purposes. )

I wonder if Kenny G knew in what context Pixar was going to use "Songbird"?
Now whenever I hear it, I'm going to think
Hey, we got a nodder!

How's that for going full circle. That was Fear Factory, not Monster Magnet.... but yeah, pretty good remake. Gary was on it too.

Oohh. Thanks Ted. I always get my Fear Factory and Monster Magnet crosses...
Didn't realize Gary was in on it. That's always cool.
