I figured we'd do a thread here for new action figures and statues that we get and show off existing collections.

So-- have at it!

I've got these two guys on the way... I think these will "complete" my Superman collection. The 80's figure is a big deal, because that was probably my favorite toy growing up, until I lost him. It'll be neat to have a figure in good condition to put up with the others. I hope he can either stand on his own or has a holy in his foot to put him on a base.

Oh wow, an Eradicator. Yikes!

It might be cool to have all four of the Superman spin-offs from the Death of Supey saga.

Sans glasses, the Eradicator's cotume might have been a decent Supey suit.

Here's a guy I'd love to have, but refuse to pay 200 bucks for-- the Reeve Superman statue.

I also don't like that he's overly ripped and gaunt.

I own this one, which is my personal favorite modern era Superman figure.

I'll join in, but only if yu change the thread title to "TOYS!"

I hate the term "ACTION FIGURE", sounds like a label created to help fat old fucks who swipe TOYS from 3 year kids hands justify their hobby.

For bonus points, change it to "TOYS & DOLLYS!" for the laydeez.

In the other thread Ross asked if I had an Aparo Bats, I don't, but yesterday I bought this:

Which is pretty close to an Aparo/Adams for me. Now if DC Direct released a Breyfogle I'd have the two Batmen I grew up with.

That Red Son Supes figure looks great, Hanzo. I almost bought that one once, but restrained myself (limited space). It looks cool with the flag and everything.

I used to buy action figures for my kids to play with! They loved them! Created zip-lines around the house and such. Good times!

At some point, I'd like to do a custom Supreme figure.

Must a figure be posable to be an "action figure"?

Here's a (blurry) photo of the shelf above my computer right now - you can see two McFarlane dragons (each is sitting on a computer monitor), some Marvel Legends Iron Man figures, some movie Iron Man figures, other smaller Iron Man figures...basically, lots and lots of Iron Man. I've even got that Titanium Man figure from the IM movie line - it looks a lot better in real life than any of the adverts made it out to look.

Yeah, there's an R2-D2 in there. Plus another little wind-up robot from '78. And a couple more dragons.

I really don't like that Marvel Legends Iron Man Extremis figure - but the display (the broken Ultrons) is really cool.
