It'll be in the Kirby Black Panther trade that ships next month (That's volume 2, reprinting issue #'s 8-13). I'm planning to pick it up.

Gotta tell you ... I know Kirby's supposed to be on the decline there, but I'll be damned if those covers don't look exciting and goofy-good. (I liked your descriptions of his '70s Cap run too.)

Early '70s is by far my favorite Kirby period.
The thick/thin shading on the musculature is more recognizable than Walt Simonson's dragon signature.

Well....okay....so maybe Daredevil had some goofy villains ...and there was that whole "posing as his own twin brother thing," but...never mind. Daredevil was the SOLE exception!
