Kristin Wells? From the Elliot S! Maggin novel?

Bet your ass I did. I loved that character, and the costume design as well.

I also voted for Superwoman. Great character, even though she only appeared two or three times. Also a great costume, and an interesting twist with her being from the future.

Plus, there was also the "redhead factor".... :)

Linda Danvers is my favorite Supergirl by FAR. In fact, PAD's run on Supergirl is in my top 20 comic runs of all time. It's fantastic. Epic in scope, yet very personal and poignant when it needs to be. Even hampered by some crossovers with big events toward the end it holds together very well. Depressing that they've decided to pretend Linda never existed. Screw that.

This is why I love(d) the concept of Hypertime. Everything "really" happened somewhere. It's more fun like that. :ohyes:

I chose the Animated Series version, 'cause that half-T-shirt is so darn cute.

I guess PAD's Linda wore that version of the costume too. But without the inimitable Timm touch ...

Ditto. PAD's run was hurt by the vendetta that
fans of the original character had for his book and
the mandatory cross-overs which kept derailing
the storyline. (Can any DC fan tell me if the crossovers
hurt other books, too?) Still, I think his 80 issue run was
a classic and I'd love to see it compiled in trades one day.

The original as drawn by Mooney, Schaffenberger or Oskner was the prettiest. She wins. Damn you, Anti-Monitor!!!!!!

Was Gil Kane also the artist for the interiors on this?

The movie one.

Though I don't like a Supergirl being present at all.

Supes should be alone

If you think that "Supes" should be alone then you're pro-gay marriage.

The original. Especially when teamed with Batgirl.

Did they team up often? The only time I can think of off the top of my head is in Crisis on Infinite Earths #4 for a few pages...

As an indevidual stand alone charachter, the PAD Supergirl beats the rest hands down.

But looking at the charachter as an actual counterpart for the Man of Steel, then I had to go with the movie version. Helen Slater was SOOOO GODDAM HOT !!!!

Nope; just the cover. He was the artist on ACTION COMICS at the time, and he aslo did covers for several other Superman books.
