No, I didn't get scared away from IMWAN - my fiancee and I took my mom to Kenora for an extra-long weekend, both for her sake and for my dad's.

She had brain surgery several months ago (well, two different rounds of it, actually, the last taking place about five months ago) and had recently been having some severe physical and mental problems. It turned out she hadn't been given all the medication she actually needed, so she is recovering nicely now.

Anyway. Because of all these recent stresses, she really needed a break and my dad really needed a break from looking after her all the time. So,as I have the most flexible schedule in the family, we were asked last Friday to take her someplace that she would like for a few days for everybodys peace of mind.

I just got back home about an hour ago. I'm very happy to say that my mom is doing much, much better (even more chipper than she was on Friday) and my dad even looks and sounds a lot more relaxed.

So, no, I didn't run away from IMWAN - I just didn't have internet access in my hotel room
