... is set to come out this week from Alias. Not sure why there was once again a three week delay, but better late than never! :yay:

You guys who will pick it up won't be able to miss it. It sports an Infinite Crisis "homage" (although I tend to think of it more as a "parody").

Okay, just so you all know ahead of time...

There is missing dialogue from the script in Issue #2. Not sure why that is the case, as it was all caught during the proof-reading stage... my guess is that it has something to do with the flipbook aspect of this issue and its effect on printer deadlines. So if you have any questions or find anything difficult to understand, just ask.

(This should in no way tell people that I am upset with my team or with Alias. They are doing a great job. This kind of thing just happens, I'm told.)

Bump.

For those of you who read it, any thoughts?

No comics at my local store until Friday. I'll let you know this weekend.

Oh. Well, I didn't go last week. Don't worry, it's sitting in a box waiting for me. Probably.

It came out last week? Uh oh... I hope a copy is still there.

I picked it up today.

Overall another enjoyable issue.

I had some trouble with some of the dialogue, so I'm not sure if some of it is still missing. Take page 1, for example:
Spoiler: show
( In top down order ... the way it looks like the conversation is supposed to flow...)

Shogun: My warrior sense is a blunt tool, Doktor. Not as keen as my blades.
Amazon: You sound surprised Uberkoff.
Doktor: "Surprise," dear madam Amazon, resides in the purview of the less intuitive.
Amazon: I want his alter-ego, Doktor.

I'm still trying to make sense of the above...

I liked the way the rest of the team stayed in-character ... liked the hinted-at past between Surefire and Shogun ( maybe like Hawkeye and the Swordsman? )

My only suggestion might be to dedicate a page for use early in the story as a set-up for a sub-plot. ( But then, what do I know? )

I didn't care for the attached flip-comic.

My copy's in the mail. Should get it in two or three weeks. Liked the "0" and #1 so far.

Yeah, the first line of the splash page is Uberkoff saying, "'Formidible but beatable' is your assessment of this... anomaly, Shogun? That's marvelously vague."

That line is missing, so the rest of the dialogue on that page is harder to follow.

Dang. It was sold out at my store. Store owner is ordering some more though. I hope to get it in a week or two.

Okay, here's a color version of the cover of Hyper-Actives #4... hopefully, the homage for our final issue is somewhat familiar to some of us.

I thought so. (And I'll say "thanks" for Clint.)

The colorist (Andrew Dalhouse) stuck the logo on this pic for me.

Isn't that an homage to Rembrandt or van Gogh?
