Look, you and I know this thing is going to be awful, so why are we pretending this is something to look forward to? It's not. It will be a boondoggle. Better if we just accept it now.

Hey, I'm not saying that, I'm just saying, come on. It will suck. We all know it will suck. Why are we pretending it's an awesome idea? Why make believe it's something to look forward to? That movie is going to be embarrassingly bad. And I think we all know it.

As soon as Will Ferrell puts on that Ant-Man helmet, we're fucked.

Too early to say for sure, but I'm hard-pressed to disagree. An Avengers or a JLA movie would likely be a mess. X-Men is as good as it gets for a SH team movie (and I wasn't crazy about those). Watchmen might convince me that its possible (not quite the same I realize).

I was thinking the JLA movie would be even worse than that -- like, gargling-pickle-juice,-glass-shards-and-rusty-razor-blades bad.

I had heard they cast Megan Gale (Aussie fashion model) as Wonder Woman for that JLA one. That alone is a bad, bad sign.

Just as long as they don't cast David Ogden Stiers as the Martian Manhunter. That'd really be a big mistake.

I heard they are coming out with this "Lord of The Rings" or somesuch movie... they are going to try to cram 4 hobbits, a wizard, 2 humans, a dwarf and a whole mess of elves all in the same movie - and those are just the protagonists! If they were smart they would just have separate movies featuring each of the characters. Trying to put them all on screen at once will just be a boondoggle. Better to simply not even try having them all together when we all know it is destined to fail. By aiming low, we will never run the fear of being disappointed.

Lord of the Rings was boring.

Box office numbers, Oscar wins and my personal experience say otherwise.

The first two criteria also suggest Titanic was good.

I liked Titanic too.

Titanic was good. Not great, and certainly not worth the hype, but it was a good movie.

I admit I've only seen a couple scenes of Titanic. But I did hate both of them, I'm not ashamed to say.

Watch the scene with the naked Kate Winslet. That's not a boring scene.
