Brightblack Morning Light Rejoin Us With New LP
http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/n ... ith-new-lp

Gather round, all you cinnamon gals and mellow fellows: Brother Nabob and Sister Rabob have got something new to lay on you. Brightblack Morning Light -- the slippery, stoney, bluesy slowcore duo of Nathan "Nabob" Shineywater and Rachael "Rabob" Hughes -- have jammed out their follow-up to their 2006 self-titled breakthrough.

This one's called Motion to Rejoin, it retains much of the slow burn of its predecessor, and it was recorded in their adobe home in New Mexico using only solar power. Because if the name Nabob Shineywater-- or the sound of the music created by Brightblack Morning Light-- wasn't indication enough, now you know: these two are 100% certifiably hippies. Hey, more power to 'em!

Motion to Rejoin is due September 23 from Matador.
