I thought Branded was an excellent album. It has the best cover of Sting's "Fragile"!

That's right, I'd forgotten about the cover of "Fragile" - very nicely done!

This album has been pulled from the release schedule. With Isaac Hayes now having passed away, I hope we'll still get to hear these final recordings one day. :( RIP.

I'm sure it will be out someday, Miss Linda. But it will probably take a while to settle Hayes' estate, etc, but I'm sure it will be out at some point.

Only a month out... I wonder if promos were already circulated. Jimbo? Monkeyboy?

My god, first Bernie Mac, now Isaac Hayes. Russert, Carlin....what is up with these male stars all dying so young (except for Carlin)?

One thing that came to mind immediately upon hearing about his passing was that it's a shame that Stax is back in business and Isaac Hayes won't be able to bless us with new music on a regular basis. I had hoped Stax's return would be Isaac's opportunity to have a regular creative outlet again, and it appears that perhaps that may have been in the works. While we might get one new posthumous album, we'll still wonder what might have been...

Jim
