Angel's [title]On Earth As It Is In Heaven[/title] has been reissued as a Limited Edition by Lovember Records. All this makes for a sought after collector's item. Originally released in 1977 and produced by legend Eddie Kramer (Kiss, Jimi Hendrix) this record features the classics On the Rocks, Can You Feel It, White Lightning & Telephone Exchange, and Cast The First Stone.

1. Can You Feel It

It is not hard to find. I have it right here in my home. :) Pretty decent rock music in its day. I think the band recorded as long as it should have.

Reviews:

ANGEL are still considered to be one of America's best kept secrets. It's still mystifying after all these years that Angel never achieved the kind of success afforded to contemporaries like Kiss, Styx and Kansas in the 70s or, indeed, to the likes of Bon Jovi in the 80s. Could it have been that Angel were just slightly ahead of their time and, if they had stuck together and worked on another record with PolyGram (who had bought the Casablanca label from Neil Bogart in 1980), the band could have finally achieved the breakthrough their talents deserved with the advent of MTV? Still, the members of Angel can reflect that they had grand innings, with a rich back catalogue of albums of which On Earth As It Is In Heaven is the most intriguing, the point of transition. --Dave Reynolds (music journalist)

On Earth as It Is in Heaven was originally released back in 1977, it was the Washington quintet's third album, which when thinking of it is quite remarkable, considering they were formed only two years earlier! The ten track album has been remastered and comes with a sixteen page booklet with new liner notes written by former Kerrang journalist Dave Reynolds. And if that wasn't enough we also get a very interesting track-by-track run down by singer Frank DiMino, plus some previously unreleased photos! This was the first (and only) Angel album to be produced by well-known producer Eddie Kramer, famous for his work with Kiss, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. For all the melodic rockers out there he might be more known for his work with bands like Icon, Air Raid, Fotomaker and many more. The album itself is of-course a real gem and an absolute landmark when it comes to pompous melodic rock and it bares all the ingredients that made Angel so unique and extraordinary. Amazing and strong vocals by Frank DiMino, absolute keyboard domination from Greg Giuffria, blistering and tasteful guitars from Punky Meadows and a steady and vibrant rhythm section in bass player Mickie Jones and drummer Barry Brandt. If you call yourself a fan of AOR or are having any kind of interest in the melodic rock genre, then you can't call your record collection a collection unless you have this title in it. If you already have it, well then you just have to make an update to this fine edition from Lovember Records. --Melodic.net

IMHO this is their finest album. A must own for fans of melodic hard rock. This is one album you turn up!

I have the original CD so I doubt I would take a chance on a remaster (thats probably just louder).
