Cool concept but they're ripping off DC. I'm not fond of that art either. But I'll give it a try for sure.

True, but then, I think a DC Zombies could be cool, too (though the in-joke wouldn't work).

What happens to the Red Ghost?

This actually came about from a Marvel Zombie panel at a Con.

They either asked the audience, or someone specifically asked about Marvel Apes as the next expansion, and Joe Q loved the idea.

Similar to how a kid asked at a con why the Hulk had never got the Venom suit, and the Marvel guys there apparently sat back in amazement at the awesomeness of this idea.

They're always coming up with high-concept minis and one-shots doing oddball riffs on their main characters, aren't they?

Oddly enough, Dave Gibbons doesn't draw many apes.
