After months and months of searching, I finally found a place that sells the oft-mentioned-never-seen plain Dark Chocolate M&Ms.

Finally, I have tasted that which only the gods themselves were allowed to consume.

And it was good.

Lately my favorite "candy" has been dried fruit. Dried pineapples, berries, mangoes--all great stuff!

I could go for some M&Ms again some time, though....

Hugh Hefner always keeps a bowl of M&M's at hand in the Playboy Mansion. I love the peanut M&M's, but I don't think I've ever bought the plain dark chocolate ones.

Peanut Butter M&M's mixed in a 2:1 ratio with regular M&M's are a decadent mix.

The only time that I saw these was at Summer camp. But, IIRC, it originally was positioned with the pointy end away from the stick (making it an awesome weapon after a few strategic licks). They attracted bees like nobody's business, so you had hundreds of kids walking around swatting at the air as they sucked on these candy shivs. Good times, good times...

Yeah, we used to sharpen the crap out of those suckers, :lol:

I thought that it was a mistake the first time I saw them flipped around. They're still quite tasty though.

This is the one time where I say....okay I suppose they are really right about making this safer. I stabbed myself in the mouth a few times with one of these.

Ian likes them still. I am not really a big fan of candy, chocolate YUM! Candy...eh not so much.

One thing I like about the new shape is that they no longer have the wax end on them (by the bottom). It was damn-near impossible to eat the whole thing because of that.

The new shape isn't as cool, but it is safer (no more stabby in the mouth) and you do get more of the actual candy.
