I tuned in just as they performed. Did Dave ever mention exactly WHO the group is? I'm not an REM fan, so I didn't recognize any of them, and I just thought it was a bunch of 40 and 50-something dudes (and a dudette) who started a bar band. I questioned why a bunch of nobodies were on Letterman.

The music was great, however.
