Today, I went to visit my folks and my nieces and was gifted with Season 2 of Wonder Woman. Mom saw it at $17.99 and thought I might want it.

Nice. Oh, yeah, and I have all of the Fleischer Superman episodes.

I liked that ROME series on HBO last year. I'll probably get that when it's released on DVD.

Might get BOSTON LEGAL too.

I watched the first disc of Due South. Good stuff. Just as good as I remember it.

The ‘cop stories’ are standard fare. The real magic is the interaction between the Mountie and the Chicago cop. They’ve got the banter down well. Sometimes I find myself laughing out load.

I noticed you have Futurama, Eric. What a good show. This is my evolution on that show:

1. Anxiously anticipated its premier for years, based on the Simpsons being a favorite. Read every snippet I could find about it in the nineties.

2. Watched most of the first season first run. Liked it, but was oddly, vaguely disappointed.

3. Drifted away. Also drifted away from the Simpsons.

4. Years later, began watching reruns on Cartoon Network. They grew on me.

5. Now I think it was as good as I could have ever expected it to be. It should have surpassed all my expectations. I don't know what I was thinking while drifting away. It wasnt just decent, I like it better than the Simpsons at this point.

Your evolution mirrors mine to a T. I mean perfectly, save that instead of watching reruns on Cartoon Network, I rediscovered in on DVD.

When the first set was released, I said, "Hmmm, this was decent. I should watch it again." Quickly bought the other three sets after watching just a few episodes. I forgot just how good that show was. It was truly better than the Simpsons while it was on the air, and is still better than any Simpsons that have come out since.
