The collection is part of an international initiative between the newly created Frank Sinatra Enterprises (FSE), Warner Home Video, MGM Home Entertainment, Turner Classic Movies, and the United States Postal Service to honor Frank Sinatra, whose music and movies had an everlasting impact on popular culture. For a limited time, Nothing But The Best will contain a collectible, commemorative Sinatra stamp with official USPS first-day issue cancellation.

While listening tonight to the NOTHING BUT THE BEST compilation (with wonderful remastered sound, btw), I was intrigued to discover that "Strangers In The Night" is a full 7 or 8 seconds longer than any other edit I've encountered; Frank gets a chance to do some ad-libbing at the end beyond the familiar "Dooby dooby doo" as the orchestra vamps. This was just the cherry on top of the sundae of this lovingly-produced disc. The "new" recording of "Body and Soul", arranged by Torrie Zito & conducted by Sinatra Jr., is also worth the price of the disc, with a beautiful vocal from the L.A. IS MY LADY sessions. I hope further releases from the new Reprise/Rhino/Sinatra family joint venture are this spiffy!
