This series has completed, right? I'm just curious what everyone who followed it thought of the ending. I HAVE NOT read the final arc yet, so please NO SPOILERS! (Or at least spoiler text them!)

To me the ending was Meh, very much so. Enough that I opted to just sell off the whole run (I owned from like issue 30 on) because I knew I wouldn't ever read it again knowing how it ends.

For the record, Jeff's opinion is wrong.

I'm pretty much The Lomm's biggest fan around here...
...but in this instance, his answer sucks ass.
In My Opinion™.

It was a good ending but it could never have been as good as the journey itself could it?

I haven't read the end yet, but I've enjoyed this more than any comic I've read in years. I know I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing how it'll end, which is more than I can say for most comics I read these days. Most stuff I read and forget - this series has kept me entertained enough to give a crap about the ending. However it ends, I'll still be happy for the ride it took me on.

Okay, I've now read the ending. I liked it a hell of a lot. As the story got closer to the end, I was worried that..... ....It'd all wind up just being a figment of his imagination or something. Or a story he'd written or something. I'm glad I was wrong.

I think many of us were worried about that once we saw the cover to the final issue, Simon.
But BKV is too smart to pull something like that. Yay!

Beth would have wake up on the morning shes supposed to go to Australia, and Yorick would be in the shower.... thru the window you'd see 355 walk past.... perhaps a science magazine cover would show a monkey. Anyway, thats how it could have ended and I would have been thrilled. I love this series. I will read it over and over.

But BKV is too smart to pull something like that. Yay! Dont you love how that last cover got us all worried and speculating that it was all a dream? Very powerfull image and interesting how so many people were so invested in the story/characters to care so much....excellent job by BKV.

I voted "Meh"
Which in retrospective, it's my assessment of the quality of the entire series.
