Roger is ok, if you like stories that keep you involved. I mean, if you like action, adventure, humor, and romance... well... you can read his stuff.

But I don't know how he is with technical manuals.

Can Roger write a good cookbook? THAT is the real question!

I always thought it was great that Roger was allowed to come back and let us know who the real Hobgoblin was in Spider-Man: Hobgoblin Lives. Never cared for Jack-O-Lantern (Macendale) as Hobgobby and Roger did it without bringing anyone back from the dead or making a deal with the devil.

Agreed. That's one of a handful of keepers in my recently culled comic collection.
In all honesty, if it had "Stern" on the cover, it went in one of the boxes I kept.

Eh, it was with uncle Rog´s Avengers where I learned what is a "Gumbo".

That was a very good mini, but it's a shame that Roger had to contort his original idea(s) around the mess that was made with the Hobgoblin in the first place.

True, but at least he was given the opportunity to do so. Some companies wouldn't have even bothered and just dismissed the idea outright.

I am not a pie fan. But if Roger Stern offered me some pie that he made I'd have to give it a try. It might even give me superpowers!
