Ten Years After were a blues-rock band formed in the UK in 1967. [title]Watt[/title] was the band's sixth album, released in 1971, following hot on the heels of their most successful and famous album: Cricklewood Green. Watt features seven tracks recorded at Olympic Studios in Barnes and one ('Sweet Little Sixteen', originally by Chuck Berry) recorded live at the 1970 Isle Of Wight festival. It features the classic line-up of Alvin Lee (guitar and vocals) Ric Lee (drums), Leo Lyons (bass) and Chic Churchill (keyboards). EMI. 2008. 1. I'm Coming On 2. My Baby Left Me 3. Think About the Times 4. I Say Yeah 5. Band With No Name 6. Gonna Run 7. She Lies in the Morning 8. Sweet Little Sixteen [Live] Amazon USA:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00149ND8M/?tag=imwan-20Amazon UK:http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00149ND8M/?tag=imwan-21

ten years after.
now there's a band that kind of got lost in the CD age. was their whole catalog even released on CD?
you certainly don't see much of their stuff out there.

Yes there was a nice reissue series many years back that had very worthwhile extras.

EMI(current owner of the Chrysalis catalogue) did an expanded remaster of "Cricklewood Green" & a 2-CD set of unreleased Fillmore East recordings.Ultimately, they could never find the session tapes for either "Sssshh" or "Watt",and so they've now resigned themselves to reissuing them with no bonus material. The albums that still remain under Universal Music's control("Ten Years After","Undead" & "Stonedhenge") were the subject of definitive expanded remasters a few years back. Those remasters were Uk-only releases, available as imports. These remasters incorporate the non-L.P. singles & studio outtakes that comprised the "Alvin Lee & Company" album, though hang onto your CD of "Alvin Lee & Company" which has the stereo album versions.(the mono single mixes make their CD debut in the 3 UK expanded/remasters)

thanks for the info,
"rock and roll music to the world" and "recorded live" i do recall seeing at one time, however, i don't think i've even seen the last 70's album "positive vibrations".

Most (if not all) of the pre CBS albums have been expanded/remastered in the UK only.
