After living here in Ireland for a year and a half I have to say that I find the Irish attitude toward Chris De Burgh baffling. In short, they (mostly) seem to hate him! I've been a fan of his music for years and was looking forward to being closer for concerts but his last tour included only one date in Ireland!

That said, I've also been mystified by the lack of attention he gets in the U.S. I was very tempted to approach a D.J. at a wedding with the challenge that I would hire him on the spot for my own wedding if he could play a De Burgh song that was not "Lady In Red". The man's got over a dozen albums and one entire CD of love songs!

As for this particular release, I think I'll save money for a full studio album as I already have everything but the new track.
