I got a promo copy of this, just for the Stones remix. It's not particularly heinous, as these things go. Opens with burbling synths, a la Georgio Moroder, and adds a clap-track out of Chic's "Good Times." Still, you couldn't call it disco. Pretty much dispenses with the original instrumentation, but uses a cut-and-paste approach to drop in the backing chorus and the odd organ fill. Kinda catchy, actually, but I'd still rather hear the original any day.

I see it has Young Folks (Album Version) Peter Bjorn And John 4:37, that is a catchy tune! :)

I picked this up yesterday (along with the Shine A Light soundtrack). I haven't opened it up yet -- I'm afraid about the time I do, rendering it unreturnable, a CD single will come out overseas with more than the one mix of the Stones track. Anyone here hear anything of this possibility? (I'm hoping not -- I tend to hate too many remixes).
