Great News for Mickey Rooney fans! Rooney has signed to co-star in the upcoming film “Night At The Museum” starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais and Dick Van Dyke for 20th Century Fox.
Directed by Sean Levy, the film revolves around a bumbling security guard, played by Ben Stiller, who works at the Museum of Natural History. The security guard accidentally lets loose an ancient curse that causes the animals and insects on display to come to life and wreak havoc. <<

That might be fun, even though I'm not a big fan of Stiller. Apparently the curse works on all the statues as well, because IMDB lists two other characters as "Attila the Hun" and "Neanderthal Man."

The kids liked it. I found parts to be very enjoyable, and parts to be slightly meh.
My favorites parts were the Easter Island statue voiced by Brad Garrett ("Hey Dum-Dum! You bring me Gum-Gum?") and Ricky Gervais as the tongue-tied museum curator.
Carla Gugino was wasted, IMO. Nice to look at, though.
