Since I had no idea what was coming, the highlight of the entire 3 seasons was when we saw The Master's watch. I almost shit my pants, jumping up screaming, and trying to explain to my wife why that was the greatest moment in Doctor Who history. (well, at that moment, it was, again cuz I had no idea the Master was coming back). T

If true, the stuff on this page really lays out what is going to happen during season four. Click if you dare. http://www.sylvestermccoy.com/newdoctorwho/I hope this comes about. Quote: 40X2. The 4 Doctors (Suggested Title) 201 231108 By Terrance Dicks Rumoured that an extra special story will be written for the 45th anniversary to be broadcast on the 23rd November 2008 starring Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant with special appearances by other guest actors.

I think I'll take pretty much all of that with a grain of salt.

For sure. But it does fit the outlines that have been reported about this season. I guess we'll see.

yeah some parts I've heard before but certain things like the 4 docs---while great, if true, McCoy reported he'd be in the last childrens special with Davison and Tenant and that didn't happen. Anything's possible but somehow, I don't see Eccleston coming back for any reason. He wiped the show off his shoe as quick as he could, it seems. If RTD is gone at the end of the season, I REALLY don't see Eccleston giving the show the time of day, anyway, which is a shame. I'm also kind of wishing that we could see Davors WITHOUT the Daleks, maybe an interesting twist on a younger version before he created them. I know they said they were going to give them a rest and this WOULD be a year and a half's rest but still, not quite enough. Plus, the Dalek two parter in season 3 was the lowest rated of the season, i think.

Four Doctors would rock if they could pull it off. I'd love see McGann given another shot.

It would be great to see ALL the surviving Doctors together again, seriously! In Time Crash, they explained Davisons age as a side effect of the two of them meeting so what the hell? But if the most recent four were going to get together, that'd be great as well. It would be great to see McGann get some more screen time. A couple years back, I thought it would be great to bring Davison back and have him team up with Tennant and together, have them witness the final days of the Time war and see McGann regenerate INTO Eccleston. That would have killed a couple birds with one stone, get a Doctors reunion together plus get some closure by seeing the regeneration from doctors 8 to 9. If it's McCoy instead of Davison (I picked him because he still looked somewhat young), hey, that's cool, seeing doctors 7 thru 10 together. If it happens. Although I'd want to see Moffat write it.....

sadly, gaining weight is something you don't want to do if you ever want to reprise your role on the show.

Who is Dr Who again? I'm sorry, I've only observed so much human sci fi history. Is this the English scientist/space traveler that stars on tv?

Well, he's Gallifreyan. He's been portrayed by eight Englishmen and two Scotsmen so far, including the current actor.
