Scout, the calico kitty, passed away in the middle of the night last night. I'm still in a bit of shock, so it's kind of weird. She'd been off of her feed for about a month, and I'd changed her from Purina ONE dry food to one of the moist cat foods, and she started eating again, but I think she was just finally ready to leave this mortal world. I've had her since I started teaching, so it will seem a bit weird for a while, I think. Here's a picture of her. Attachment: Scout on my Coat.jpg

Thank you all. Since I don't live in an incorporated town, I was able to bury in the backyard. It's weird. I keep expecting to hear her push my living room door open.
