From the desk of Lou Copeland:

I'm very pleased to announce the details of a project that's been in the making for three years, and is the first major work from the drawing table of Dave Sim since he completed Cerebus four years ago. The project, Judenhass, is a personal reflection on The Holocaust in the form of a 56 page comic book. Begun in response to the sixtieth anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz (2005) it will be released during the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of Israel.
In order to avoid trivializing the Holocaust, Dave Sim will be doing almost no active promotion for Judenhass. Fortunately, others have risen to the occasion. An advance copy was sent to less than a dozen respected individuals on short notice. About half of them, including Joe Kubert and Neil Gaiman, responded with very favorable support, several of them with dizzying speed. While unfortunately we're not able to send out full copies of the work for you to judge at this point, our website has a seven page preview section which should help introduce you to the work.
We also have an assortment of graphics to download should you be interested:
http://www.judenhass.com/press.html Judenhass is a project I've devoted two years of my personal time to on a strictly volunteer basis. In my opinion it's a powerful, moving, and meaningful experience. I couldn't be prouder of being able to assist Dave in bringing Judenhass into this world.
Going live this evening is our website, which I hope you'll be kind enough to link to:
