.....I'll more than likely be waiting in one of many lines for an autograph at Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas. Malcom McDowell, George Romero, Tom Savini, Elvira(on Saturday & Sunday only) and the list goes on will be in town. It's actually starting tonight in Dallas with a screening of Night of the Living Dead with many of the Convention guests at the the screening and at an after party, but I'll be going to the Celebrity party on Saturday Night instead and still get to mingle with the celebs.

And that's what a friend of mine had him sign on a photo: "I Killed Kirk!", he then added and he deserved it.

Nice. I met him once at a party and called him, "Terrence". I did it again later, when I we were both leaving, and decided to ask for his autograph. He graciously signed, but his wife was rather cross with me. I explained that I knew his name was Malcolm, but accidentally confused him with Terrence Stamp, and said, "That probably happens all the time, doesn't it." She said, "It's happened twice today!" refering to my earlier faux pas. Yikes. In my defense, they are both celtic, white-haired, tanned actors, about the same age. Plus, I was drunk.

They do look somewhat similar. That's still a pretty funny story though.

That's probably better than calling him "Roddy".

Or "Andie".

One of my most embarrassing moments, truly. I tried to play it off all cool, but she withered me.

At least I thought it was her. Maybe it was Terr...uh, er, Malcolm. I was drunk.

At least he got my name right.

And on Sunday when I got back from said Con & Scarby Rehearsals I discovered that I may have left my Clockwork Orange Spec. Ed. DVD cover behind, luckily I got the poster of the show(my avatar at the moment) signed, but dammit, that's $20 lost if said cover isn't at my friends' apartment!
