As an aural document of a great Rock band in its live element and firing on all cylinders, it's damn near impossible to beat! It therefore also represents Pat Travers classic years in the best possible way. As well the eight hard-rockin' tracks that make up Go For What You Know, 8+8: Best Of '77-'80 also features a further eight superb s*it-kickin' studio cuts, including the major American radio hit 'Snortin' Whiskey' and Travers' funky cover of Bob Marley's 'Is This Love' . All together, this makes up a fantastic overview of Travers peak period and is a great intro for any Blues-Rock fan. Ork.
