Two words. Hulk movie.
You know, I stumbled onto this while the wife was flipping channels on TV the other day, and the bit with him demolishing the tanks wasn't so terribly horrible. I actually watched that before telling her she could turn it off.
I might have actually liked this movie if:
1) They had used actual Marvel characters like the Leader or the Abomination as Hulk foes, instead of mutated dogs.
2) They had skipped the whole "Dad decides to murder son, and instead kills Mom when she intervenes" scene. Yes, I know that they wanted to show why Banner is going through such anguish, but I could have done without this. Really, really disturbing stuff. And come on, kids love super-hero movies: My two have about worn out our DVDs of the Spider-man and X-Men shows. What were they thinking by making a show that I won't let my kids view before they're 18??? (And I think I'm pretty tolerant about stuff like that. My daughter and I were watching Underworld together the other day until the wife came in at an especially bloody moment and hit the roof. Poor Ashley isn't gonna get the chance to see how the movie ends for quite a while.
