This poll and thread are about universes, not specific heroes.

Neither. They've both become places I wouldn't want to live in. I don't even feel like visiting them that often any more.

DC (traditional) has always been the more optimistic one where the heroes are respected and trusted, so I'd choose that.

Traditionally, I'd say DC. In the last few years though, that seems to lead to a greater chance of getting dismembered. Plus if you die, Marvel gives you a better chance of coming back intact, rather than replaced. I think I'll vote Marvel here.

Of those two? Marvel I guess. I'd like to team up with Spidey.
However, I would prefer Astro City.

Oh, hell yes. Next stop, Astro City!
The Top Ten universe would be pretty wild, too.

Tough question.
Neither right now.
Maybe the Ultimate Marvel Universe.
The DC Universe is more epic (you know, back when it was good), so that's certainly appealing.

The first time the mutants of X-Men made me think they were living in the apartheid environment of South Africa, I decided I would never want to live in the Marvel universe. I think it was about the time of the death of Jason Todd that DC started falling apart.

I choose the DCU where they build museums and have parades for you instead of chase you with picket signs and call you menace in the newspapers.

Marvel.
I was a Marvel kid growing up, so I guess I feel like more of my friends are there. (Okay - so they're imaginary friends! They're still there.)

Whatever the syntax, you are fortunate for having never experienced the dreck that was Marvel's Star Trek.
