No more Heroes this season:

Quote:
Hi Guys,

I've been extremely busy here at the Berlin Film Festival having already screened a dozen movies. Full reports on those to follow soon. But first I wanted to pass along some bad news -

Today I got to spend 20 minutes with everyone's favorite cheerleader, Hayden Panettiere. She is promoting her new film FIREFLIES IN THE GARDEN. Anyway, she confirmed that even though the strike is over, Heroes is definitely done for the season. New shooting will not start until April which she will arrive a bit late for as she will be finishing up another film in Canada. So I guess we have to wait until at least September. Full transcription of that interview coming after the festival.

Ciao for now

After the last 10 episodes, I'm apathetic about it ever returning.

Not me -- I thought the last five episodes or so were really awesome.

Too much focus on the Wonder Twins this season did too much damage to my interest in the show.

With terrible payoff to boot.

I liked Heroes this season, but I'm glad they're not going to try and rush some episodes out.

I wish they'd try to get some more Pushing Daisies done this season, but they're not going to.

It did get picked up for next season, though, so I'm happy about that.

Heroes went from a weak start to a reasonably strong finish this season. I'll certainly be back for more. But I'm fine with them not trying to rush out some episodes to finish the season - I'd rather they took time to do them right.

Take some time and do it right. From everything I have read, the writers and producers went thru a learning curve this season, and now have a better understanding of what works and what doesn't. Heroes has some interesting characters, it can be a great show again.

Yeah, the show hit it's stride in the last few episodes of the season, but before that, it was not living up to it's potential.

Where would you say you would pick up if you stopped with say...episode 4 of season 2?

Literally the last 2 episodes were the best of the season. I was quite bored up until then.

Speaking of the end of Season 2,

Spoiler: show
Was it supposed to be HRG that killed Nathan at the end, or just a random company assassin?
