Their 3rd and final album, the weak sister of the bunch, never thought I'd see it on cd but here it is, released in aug 2007.
Description The Records formed from the ashes of The Kursaal Flyers. Their launch pad was the Stiff Records train tour of 1978, on which they backed Rachel Sweet. Signed to Virgin Records in 1979, they were perceived by the US media to be part of the 'English Invasion' (second wave), scoring a US Top 50 hit with "Starry Eyes" and the debut album from which it sprang, 'The Records aka Shades In Bed' (FOAMCD5). A second album for Virgin - 'Crashes' (FOAMCD7) - followed in 1980. MUSIC ON BOTH SIDES was The Records' third and final studio album, originally released in 1982. This reissue contains nine bonus tracks, including the previously unreleased "Lovin' You Ain't Easy" featuring guest vocalist Jane Aire.Tracklist 1. Your Own Soundtrack* 2. Imitation Jewellery 3.
