From MusicTAP.com;

Here’s a quick rundown on the February 5 release of The Thrill of it All: A Visual History (1972-1982), a 2DVD set that we have been waiting for through several date changes for Roxy Music. This set runs through 38 videos – previously unreleased live footage, TV performances, and music videos – and will include footage from the last filmed performance with Brian Eno at the Montreux Rose Festival. This sounds like a ‘must have’ for fans of Roxy Music during their wonder years.

Awesome track selection-I love this band and will buy this right away. I just finished a long, but quite good book about Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music called "The Thrill Of It All-The Story Of Bryan Ferry And Roxy Music" which came out a couple of years ago. Great stuff.
My friend and I have also been sitting of an amazing sounding bootleg we made at a Roxy show in Camden,NJ on the 2001 reunion tour that my friend recorded on DAT. We have no idea how to convert that-but we'd love to, because the sound quality is killer!

If you like Roxy, this is a must own. The stereo is linear, not DD, a big plus. Some songs, the live stuff from The High Road and the songs from Avalon, are presented in 5.1 DTS and DD. They did not do a fake surrond for the others, which is good, so all of disc one, and most of disc two, is stereo only. Video quality varies, as one would expect, but not bad overall. Some of the achive material on disc one is a little rough, but well worth if for the historic value. Audio is good, except for a couple of the live tracks, once again. The only complaint, very small, is the video quality of the video for Same Old Scene. I know I've seen a better version, this looks like video tranfered to film, then back to video. Overall, very well worth the low price. If you can get a hold of this, do so. Seeing Frida and (especially) Agnetha, circa 1979, introduce Dance Away from the ABBA in Switzerland special is a great bonus.

I got my copy tonight at my friend Jamal's store. Looking forward to digging in over the weekend!

I remember being spellbound by the video for "More Than This" back in the old MTV days. It's my second-favorite song of all time.
