This is my latest pen and ink drawing. I kind of like how it came out, so I thought I would share. The lovely young lady in the picture told me I should post the drawing too.

I started doing pen and ink drawings about a year and a half ago. This is the first one I did that I thought was worth keeping. The girl in this pic has since become a loan officer at a bank.

Thanks. I could always get the form right, but I'm still working on the difference of light and shadow. I'm trying to get more used to crosshatching. And then some of my friends tell me about stippling, which I've seen but really isn't an overall technique I want to focus on.

Sorry I missed this earlier. Really like your stuff here. Crosshatching has been my bane to try to get under control. Stippling for me was always easy, but for comic art kinda impractical. For what you're doing, I think stippling would be a great way to go. You can get some cool variation with it.

That's it. Very nice stuff.

Casey is a sweetheart who had the most enchanting smile and eyes. I had to draw her.

Great stuff, Mark!

So do you draw anything other than attractive young women? (And if the answer is "yes," please explain why...) :)

So far, no. These young ladies have been willing and able models for me, at a fee I can afford (read FREE).
