A British inventor is preparing to market a chair that uses magnets to float up to 14 inches in the air.

He says he was inspired by the Landspeeder in "Star Wars."

The chair goes on sale in March for 5, 875 pounds, or nearly $12,000. :shock: We have yet to spend that kind of money on a car!

Cool but,it'd be kinda irritating after awhile having to keep all the metal stuff from sticking to your chair I would think.

And anyone with piercings, metal implants, or a pacemaker might want to think twice about spending time around magnets that strong.
