This CD captures a once in a life time event with classic masterpieces from Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship performed live. This concert event includes the last recorded appearance by Grace Slick and features Marty Balin's "Miracles." As a songbook, this is an important document in Jefferson Starship history.This concert featured legendary members Jack Casady, Marty Balin, Paul Kantner, Prairie Prince, Mark "Slick" Aguilar, Tim Gorman, and Darby Gould and a special guest apperance by Grace Slick who came out of retirement to perform at this show.

I don't know about this one, but in the early days of dsl there was a site whose name I can't remember that used to legally stream concerts. I recorded & still have a 1998 Jefferson Starship show that's just superb. I don't know if this one is as good. In fact, thanks to this reminder I'm putting on the 1998 show right now!

Not to beat a dead horse, but like many of us my cd collection is so large that I usually don't think of most of my music until getting a reminder like this. I am in ecstasy (NOT THE DRUG!) getting to enjoy this 1998 show all over again. It's acoustic with Katner, Cassidy, a keyboard player & Diana Mangano singing remarkably on key like Grace did in the 60's. Combination of classics & a few tracks from Windows Of Heaven. Yummy.

i just broke out "deeper space, extra virgin sky" and the tracklisting and order is the same except for
omitting the "windows of heaven" tracks and 'other side of this life'. may just be a repackaging. if so
just get "ds,evs". its worth it for the "woh" tracks. also grace only sings on the last 5 tracks.
