Originally scheduled for release this month, the a-ha singer's latest solo effort has been pushed back to the first week of March. "Movies," the first single from the album, is beginning its ninth week in the Norwegian top 10.

In other a-ha related news, Magne F's new solo EP sold out in its limited edition pressing, but is available for free download on his MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/magnef.

2008 solo album from the voice of a-Ha. Morten Harket is one of Norway's biggest stars and has remained one for the last few decades. I'm a fan and have all their solo stuff, so appreciate the update. It's hard to get a-ha news in Kentucky, and I hate to hear that the Magne F EP has sold out, as I don't much care for downloads, even free ones...

You are definitely not the only a-ha fan on this list. I was utterly devoted to them for their first three albums, and the stuff they've put out since their reunion has been pretty wonderful as well. "Summer Moved On", in particular, is classic. I'm off to find that Mags EP and a download of "Movies". Thanks for the heads up.

New release date is May 19, with a second single ("Darkspace") due in April.

Amazon (US!) is offering this one at $18.99 -- a bargain compared to what it would cost to import. I ordered mine this morning.
