:) Thanks guys! I worked a long time on this, so I'm glad you liked it. The scan is of a printer sheet sized photo copy of the original since it was too big for me to scan. 14X17. Biggest finished art I've ever done!

Very well done. Really reminds me of a late 70s/early 80s Marvel drawing.

Thanks, Hawkeye! I was going for that retro feel for the team. Most distinct period for the X-Men as far as a look, I think.

Here's a caricature of Einstein.

Changed the thread title here, too. Just seems simpler to put anything I post in one place.

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. That is surely fantastic. If I was still inking... BOY! Wow.

That's not a ping on your pencils, BTW. Whenever I see really cool pencils I just go into inking mode.

Really, very well done!!!

:) Thanks, man. I'm really flattered that you'd think to want to ink it. Go for it if you want to jump back in to inking.

It'd actually lend itself to a dip pen/nib well, I think; I thought about, but I didn't plan on it when I drew it, so I just decided to let it be and not mess with the original since I liked the way it turned out. Might play with some ink later with some tracing paper, though.

Posted this in the "Pimp you CAF Gallery", but I don't know if it's hard to notice there or not. And just thought I'd post the link in my art thread again. Got some more art in my gallery that I haven't posted here before. If anybody gets a chance to take a look, I hope you get a kcik out of some of it. Thanks! :)

Love that Einstien Mr Clayton! Very nice soulful gaze he has in those eyes. Lots of life in it.

Thant style would fit right in with the best MAD Magazine artists.

Thanks, guys! Glad you liked it! Have a few more things in my CAF gallery you might dig too, here's one that might fit under the MAD category, too. Just drawing a freakish type face for fun, though, wasn't trying for that specifically. :)

It's cropped a bit on the right side, I should scan it again in two pieces and merge the files. The rest of his hand and right ear is drawn on the actual piece of paper.

Looks like Alfred E. Neuman's less intelligent cousin.

Thanks, Ross! You think Cloverfield is going to be a tentacle type monster? I thought he was going to be a giant leprechaun! :)
