Hey guys and gals.

Recently, I was approached by the producers of the Canadian TV show Less Than Kind, a comedy series, about doing a series of four covers to ficticious comic books that will appear in an episode.

Unlike a lot of projects like this, they are quite happy to have me show the artwork as I work on it

So, here is my work-in-progress thread on it.

The first cover I've done is for the first issue of INDIRA, Jungle Queen:

I really like the composition on this one, great work as usual!

I like this heavy-lined, animated look for your work. Honestly, better than most of your other stuff. Have you thought about trying for a DCKids or Marvel Adventures book? I can see this fitting in well with those house styles.

Hank, I'm really liking these recent ones a lot more than my older work as well. And, at some point, something like one of those series would be interesting to look at...

They were looking at online stuff by Winnipeg funnybook artists and emailed me. I went down to the studio to talk to them, and we hammered out the project that afternoon.
