I'm hoping that this DVD will come with extra stuff. It's been OOP for many years and I think this is the first time on DVD. I saw this tour in 1983 at the City Center in NYC and thought it was great.

Linda...any word on bonus features at all?

Thanks,

Mark

Count me in on this one! Never had the VHS, did it include the video for "Music Time"?

Not yet, but let's hope that the "And More" in the title really means something.

I don't remember if the "And More" was part of the VHS release. It might pertain to the opening movie and the parts the members of the band played as well during the show.

Not 100% confirmed, but here's one rumored possibility...

Even better, however, is the value added inclusions of 12 videos, 4 of them pre-MTV performance clips (one from 1977 – “Come Sail Away,” and three from 1979 – “Babe,” “Boat on the River,” “Borrowed Time”). The remaining 8 videos are MTV-era clips (“A.D. 1928/Rockin’ the Paradise,” “The Best of Times,” “Too Much Time on My Hands,” “Mr Roboto,” “Don’t Let It End,” “Heavy Metal Poisoning,” “Haven’t We Been Here Before,” “Music Time”).

“Haven’t We Been Here Before”

This would especially be great as this video was only shown on Friday Night Videos and MTV never had it. I have a crap original airing from 1983. The "Music Time" video is wretched and I love it. Bad 80s videos rule! (I should know-I have over 25,000 of them-yikes, I'm pathetic).
Shame they didn't include the videos for the later songs, but I guess they wanted to keep things in the same era. Those 70s promos are actually quite rare and were never shown on MTV.
"Rockin' The Paradise" was shown in MTV's very first hour!

Garp comes to ICE.
I have to buy this for nolstalgic value. The Roboto tour is the one that killed the band. I saw this in May of '83. Tommy could not have been less interested in the acting parts. Years later he stated he was drinking heavily to hide his hatred for the show.
