According to my ReplayTV schedule, "Time Enough at Last", the Twilight Zone episode starring Burgess Meredith as a bank teller who longs for time to read, is airing on the Sci-Fi channel tonight (early tomorrow morning - 1:30am SCI-FI Pacific).

Got that one on DVD. All four Zones with Burgess Meredith were great, IMO.

My memory fails me. What were the four roles?

I know he was in the episode with the spectacles mentioned above and I think he had the stopwatch that could stop time, didn't he?

Wasn't he also a vacuum cleaner salesman in another?

I hadn't remembered until I saw TZ: The Movie on one of the HBO channels last week, but he was the narrator of that film as well.

The one above, the one where he's a librarian declared obsolete by the State , one where different aliens keep using him to experiment on humans (they make him super-strong, super-smart, etc), and one where he's a murderer being let out of prison to go live with his sister (?) and the whole town is scared of him coming.
