I don't know. I ordered a copy because I love the Hollies' baroque song "Bus Stop". I'm hoping this CD will be something similar.

The song I most readily associate with "baroque" pop is The Left Banke's"Walk Away Renee". The term applies mostly to music with strings that has a light, jaunty feel."Penny Lane" is often mentioned as a baroque type song.
Among current performers, Badly Drawn Boy ,Arcade Fire and The Decemberists have often been referred to as having elements of the baroque in their music.
